Our purebred North Country Cheviot rams come from pasture-hardy stock and are easy keepers.
Born in May-June 2025, these yearling rams grew well through the awful drought we had in Eastern Ontario last year. All born on pasture without assistance and reared by their dams.
They have been tested for Johne’s disease, Maedi Visna, and genotyped for scrapie resistance. Our ram flock was just shorn on May 17th, with annual Glanvac 6 vaccination booster shots and hoof trimming also done that day.
$1,000 each, firm. Four yearling rams are available.
The second-last picture is our 4 year old "Waldorf", who is the sire of two of these yearlings. The last picture is Waldorf's 2 year old son "Astor" (the older brother of these yearlings) who is staying on our farm.
